Canada-based manufacturer of concrete processing machines Stonemaker is offering the flexibility of making concrete products on construction sites without the need for factories and inventory.
The Stonemaker DM100 is concrete processing machine which enables manufacturing of dry mix for pavers and blocks and as well as ready mix for casting, pumping or pouring, on a single platform. It uses local aggregate, mixes batches, switches from dry mix forming to wet mix casting in minutes and cures finished products in a controlled environment. The DM100 comprises a 122cm pan mixer which can mix 300kg. All operational functions are controlled through a digital control panel, which supports remote diagnostics and provides productivity reports.
According to Finn Christensen, managing director, Stonemaker, the target market for Stonemaker in the Middle East would be startups, contractors and landscape companies. The machines would be applicable in remote areas where producers of blocks, bricks, pavers, veneers, curbs and retaining wall stones and not available.
“The DM100 is an all-in-one brick machine, block machine and concrete mixer. The ease of transportation, installation and maintenance makes it easy to operate the DM100 anywhere in the world without the need for factories or inventory. The DM100 can be placed on a lowboy or low-loader trailer for transportation to construction sites. We offer an optional power-pack with a Honda motor to power a hydraulic power pack. One of our Spanish customers set up the DM100 in a modified container to produce paving stones in a national park,” said Christensen.
Stonemaker provides a standard universal mould and half mould. Optional moulds include a brick mould, hollow-core block mould and brick paver mould to manufacture bricks and blocks as per customer design and specifications.
“The DM100 is the only multi-line production system available in the world. With a dry mix stamping production cycle of under 1 minute it can produce over 1000 bricks or 100 blocks every hour,” said Christensen.
