Saud Bahwan Group’s Arabian Engineering Services has launched MAN trucks TGS range into the Omani market.

With interest for the truck already picking up in Qatar and the UAE, Arabian Engineering Services is the latest dealer in the region to showcase the heavy duty truck to customers.

Speaking at the official launch, Markus Geyer, CEO of MAN Africa Middle East said: “The mega sales region of Africa and the Middle East is the largest sub-region of the MAN world, comprising 68 countries – all with a great variety of product demands and vastly differing after sales needs."

MAN is hoping the flexibility of the TGS will help it snaffle market share in the GCC, and Geyer added: "We have ambitious goals for this region, and as such have a clear vision and growth strategy towards 2015 and beyond.”

Sheikh Mohammed Saud Bahwan’s company main commercial vehicle facility is capable of accommodating 75 trucks per shift while it also operates five other service centres throughout Oman.
